The dining room full, the marina visible through the open front

The experience

A table on the Quay of Honour.

Puerto Banús is a place people come to be out in the world. La Pappardella is built for exactly that: a deck on the promenade, a room that opens straight onto the water, and a service that never hurries you off the table.

01

The terrace

Decked tables on the front line, parasols in the day, candles after dark, and the boats a few metres away.

02

The room

White, bright and open to the promenade. Southern Italian in volume — never a library.

03

Live music & themed evenings

Live music through the season, jazz evenings, and events built around food, fashion and entertainment. Ask what's on when you book.

04

Four languages at the table

The floor team switches language mid-sentence. Nobody here needs to point at a menu.

One day, four restaurants

The table changes character about four times a day.

From12:00

Lunch, with the sun on the deck

Pasta, a pizza and a glass of something cold while the promenade fills up. Gangsta Pasta is served through the afternoon until 18:00. This is the quiet half of the day — the best chance of a front-row table without booking weeks ahead.

From16:00

The long afternoon

Coffee, dessert, an espresso martini, and nobody asking for the table back. Puerto Banús is at its most watchable in these hours.

Around20:30

Sunset over La Concha

The sky goes pink behind the mountain and the whole terrace turns to look at it. This is the sitting that fills first — book it early.

Until23:30

Dinner, and the rest of the night

Candles, a full room, music, and a queue outside the door most of the summer. Last tables go at 23:30.

The bar

Aperitivo hours, Puerto Banús rules.

Cocktails are made at a bar in the middle of the room, under a painted Neapolitan street scene. Order one before you look at the menu — it is the right order of operations here.

At the table

Food to hand around, not to photograph and abandon.

Bruschetta for the middle of the table, a burrata with three tomato textures, a pizza cut into the conversation, and a tiramisù with more spoons than people. The menu is long on purpose: nobody at your table has to eat what everyone else is eating.
